Summary: The Ho Chi Minh trail was a route from the north through Cambodia, Laos and behind Vietnam lines into the south to get supplies to soldiers. These places were areas where the US could not raid. The Tet Offensive was a surprise to the US by the North army but was unsuccessful on their part. The Tet Offensive caused citizens of America to protest against the war.
