Subjunctive Question: If the united Nations did not help south Korea, would there be a separation between North and South Korea, and would they both be communist today?

Summary: The Korean War and Yalu River were major events in China. As United Nations troops got close to the Yalu river, the troops almost got driven off the peninsula. United Nations protected south Korea, and China protected North Korea and has kept North Korea communist to this day.
